Established in 1997 by Dr Roger Carter, formerly the Director of the Heart of England Tourist Board and Chief Executive of the Edinburgh Tourist Board, TEAM has unrivalled experience in destination management and marketing.

TEAM has undertaken more than 160 projects over the past eight years and has been active in nearly twenty countries. In recent years, it has undertaken assignments for destination organisations in Seychelles, South Africa, Estonia, Slovenia, Ireland and Belgium and throughout the UK, at national, regional and local level.

TEAM has co-authored two UN World Tourism Organization publications, 'Marketing Tourism Destinations Online', published in 1999; and 'E-Business for Tourism - Practical Guidelines for Tourism Destinations and Businesses', published in October, 2001. Another project for the UNWTO was the first global survey of tourism authorities and organisations, followed by a conference on "New Models for Destination Management and Marketing".

TEAM also works for the European Travel Commission, most importantly running the 'New Media Review' - a web-based source of intelligence about the use of new media in all the major markets of the world.
